One of the Benefits of RRRA Membership

Posted: Jan 5, 2017
One of the benefits of joining the RRRA is our insurance cover for members.

Many of you know or have heard that Crouch Recovery lost one of its employees in August last year whilst out on a job.  Crouch Recovery are a member of the RRRA.

As soon as we were informed, we started the ball rolling with our insurers and within a couple of months of the accident, we received the maximum payment possible on this insurance £50,000.  This money, the full £50,000 was then paid to his widow.

To some, £50K may not seem a lot, but we hope that it will help in one way or another - like an unexpected bill or even at a later date a family break away somewhere.

Some companies who offer insurance cover for their employees, not recently I would add, but I have heard it a couple of times in my working life, that a company keep some of the pay out for whatever reason.   The RRRA are very pleased to say we did not and did not consider keeping any of this - the insurance was and is for our members and it will always remain this way.

It is and will continue to be a benefit of membership - in full.
